Categories: Coast Guard Stations
  • Description
This Chart Art print features Betty Vestuto’s 2014 painting of U.S. Coast Guard Station Annapolis set against a mid-bay NOAA nautical chart of Chesapeake Bay. The artwork depicts two Coast Guard response boats — representing the station’s search‑and‑rescue and patrol capabilities. Rising behind them is the historic Thomas Point Shoal Light, the last screwpile lighthouse on the Chesapeake still standing in its original 1875 location. The combination of operational Coast Guard craft and iconic maritime architecture creates a striking tribute to the crews who safeguard these waters.
